In 2014, READ to RISE visited 23 Primary Schools in Mitchells Plains: Ridgeville Primary School, Tafelsig Primary School, Beacon School, Alpine Primary School, Lantana Primary School, Northwood Primary School, Dennegeur Primary School, Cascade Primary, Liesbeeck Primary, Beacon View Primary, Meadowridge Primary, Highlands Primary, Harvester Primary, Perivale Primary, Westville Primary, Spineview Primary, Wavecrest Primary, Mitchells Plain Primary No. 1, Khanya Primary, Rocklands Primary, Mandalay Primary, Caravelle Primary and Seaview Primary Schools.
READ to RISE has visited one school in Gauteng - Nokuphila School - distributing new books to 60 learners.
5 Mini-Libraries have also been given to 5 Educare Centres in Khayelitsha.
Two Mini-Libraries were placed at Perivale Primary School in Lotus River and 75 new books were given out.
In 2014, READ to RISE visited 82 classes and gave out new OAKY AND THE SUN books to over 3,370 learners as well placed 61 Mini-Libraries in classes - totalling over 6,420 new books!
